Hi, I am getting grey bars on the top and bottom of all my HD programings. I am with adelphia/time warner in the Charlotte area. I have the SA 8300HD. I gone into settings and nowhere can I find anything about aspect ratio. Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

press the 'pound' sign (#) this should change your screen size....

It's probably the setting of the box. If you can't figure out , give the cable co. a call.

They may be abale to help you over the phone. You have to change the aspect ratio in the diagnostic screen, on the box.

also try changing the aspect ratio of your TV.
