Hi there

If I was to use my ISP to download material from newsgroups what would be the chance of the ISP getting in contact about what is being downloaded.
I have read that they are unmonitored so Im guessing that it would be unlikely.

If anyone knows then it would be great to hear from you.

you did not state who you ISP was.

i am on charter and i have been downloading from newsgroups since the day I signed up. no one ever said boo.

I figure if they were that concerned then they would block the groups contain the material that bothered them.

I have been downloading from newgroups since dial-up went to unlimited bandwidth, and i would stay connected to my dial-up 24x7
