I think some homebrew has been written to work on 2.80 however I am only telling you this for a few reasons.

1, so you do not download something that promises to downgrade your PSP just yet.
2, so you understand that it is probably just as good to go to youtube and watch the videos in their than do it on your actual PSP 2.80
3, so you do not feel left washed up just yet and understand that it has been hacked just a little.

things are obvioulsy possible with 2.80 What is and is not possible is not for me to say though. I certainly wouldn't upgrade to 2.81 just yet ;)
