I don't know why I didn't search more diligently, however, I found the answer to my own question. I found it on the thread :Burning with Nero 6.6.1.4 amd Shrink 3.2.0.15. I'm going to just go back to 6.6.0.18 where I've had no problems whatsoever!!!!
Thanks to those who would have replied, had I given you a chance!!
Just 2 things to add, you will need to edit out your serial number from your post before someone pirates it and it is recommended to have a minimum of 512mb RAM to be successful at burning so you should consider adding more RAM....you only have 383mb.
Gwendolin...
So nice to hear from you!!!
DARN, DARN, DARN...
Never ever thought about the serial numbers showing up on the post.
They're gone now, THANKS....
As for the RAM, I have a Pentium 3 that I do not want to get rid of and I am only allowed to have a max of 383MB. Within the next six months, I will get another computer. I just don't want to go through the motions of transferring all of the "GOOD" crap I've horded over the last ten years.
Back to Nero....
For the first time, I didn't erase the old version after I've downloaded the new one. What I did was go in and clicked the .exe fiel for 6.6.0.1.8 and everything worked fine, except for a runtime error. It is a R6025 Pure virtual function call error. It could be that when I went back to 6.6.0.1.8 I didn't reboot! I'll reboot tomorrow and see what happens.
Gwendolin, Thanks for the heads up on the serials!!!!
