Just in case there are any doubters out there(and I was one of them), DVD media really does make a difference when your backing up your games. I recently switched from samsung pleomax 8x to verbatim 16x(both DVD+R), and the difference in performance is huge. Before games like Final Fantasy XII, Scarface, Just Cause, Fight Night Round 3, NBA 2k7 wouldnt work, but i switched media and all of the games run smoothly. I'm not a verbatim salesman btw , this is just for anyone who is using a media outside the Top medias(see media guide) and is having trouble with some of their backups.
