Help! Cant figure out whats wrong, same media as before- same process as before. We just moved so switched DSL carrier (dont know if it has anything to do with anything). Have tried Nero & DVD Shrink w. DVD for free running in background and have tried several different movies, Disney Sing Along, Stick It, Kinki Boots, none work!

Just to add to Gwens post:
Another problem maybe be DVD43. I don't think it can handle some of movies you are doing. Stick It - it probably can't - has the latest Macrovision crap on it.
Rip first w/ DVDFab decrypter (free) then open those file in Recode.
Or not free but you can try AnyDVD - has a 21 day free trial - runs in the background like DVD43 but unlike DVD43 handles all the new stuff. But both should not be installed at the same time.
Also check the back of the discs for dirt, smudges, scratches and clean them off with something non abrasive. Another reason you can get the failed to read from file error.
Direct burning: true Turn off Burn at Once - give the drive a chance to read - this can add to the read error too. Any little glitch in reading and the burn will fail.
Give those a go and let us know.
