Question: Possible to save memory card data on the HDD?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but after an hour of googling, I haven't been able to find the answer, and this forum seemed the best place to ask.

I'm running a 250gig compatible HDD, with HDAdvance 3.0 Xtreme. I use WinHiip to copy my backups to the drive.

With that being said, I'm sure there HAS to be a way of using the hard drive as a giant memory card, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've seen mention of using USB FlashDrives, and will be content with that as well, but I'm not sure how to use those as memory cards either.

Can somebody point me to a tutorial, or shoot me an answer here? I'm computer "savvy" so I won't get lost in the answer.

You can't make a hard drive literally a memory card as if you could put all the saves on the drive and the ps2 will load them from there. the most it can do is take the data off the memory card and store it on the hard drive, when you want to play it you load that file back on to the card.

get ulaunchelf which can be found at sksapps.com
this program allows you to browse all the different areas on the ps2 and copy and delete amongst them, just copy the save folder (I believe all ps2 saves are folders) from the memory card to the hdd through this program then delete the original off the mem card. The best part is that this program is free, if you want you can burn the iso of ulaunchelf onto a cd then use winhiip to install it onto the hard drive that way you don't have to deal with another disc.
