Hi,
I am new to downloading videos and on the first one I have downloaded (.avi file), I cannot get it to play only in English. I am trying to play it on my PC with Windows Media Player. It plays in Spanish with the English Audio playing a bit lower in the background.
Any ideas on how to get it to play in only one language?
Please help. I have seen some similar problems already in your forum. None have actually been answered.
Maybe its a really stupid question, but I cannot seem to work it out.

Possible that it has two audio streams. WMP being a piece of crap just plays both at the same time. You would either need to install a 3rd party audio/stream switcher or use a player that can natively handle multiple streams (like Media Player Classic).

Very cute, Socomii!
To celtic_d, I tried downloading Media Player Classic, but still playing two audios at the same time, whichever language you choose. I also have Power DVD and same thing! It seems to play the Spanish audio as the main one, but the English audio is in the background (and not always synchronised).
Anyone, any more ideas, or should I just try and download another file?

That would suggest that the audio is mixed into a single stream. Unless it is a case of left/right for the two languages then there is nothing you can do.
