Burn a .nrg image file to a bootable CD??

I have to create a bootable CD with a .nrg image file. Nero is looking for an IMA file. How do I create a bootable CD with just a .nrg image file?

Are you burning with Express? "Image/Project/Copy" -> Disc image or Save Project. This should allow you to add a .nrg file to your burning cue.

I am buring with Burning ROM 7. I got the following instructions from Gateway to try and fix my PC, but I can't get it to work. Is there any easier way to do this in Nero?

"If you wish to create a bootable CD, an ISO and NRG image of the CD
is available in the C:\Cabs\gwscan511 folder as filename gwscan511.iso
and gwscan511.nrg. An application such as Roxio Easy CD Creator (iso
file) or Nero (nrg file) can be used to create a bootable CD with this
CD image"

I've made some live Linux CDs recently and burn a .iso using the process that LOCOENG was advising.

From SmartStart (if you use it) select Burn Image to Disk (its an option under the Backup icon),then select Image, Project, Copy in the lefy pane,then select Disk image or Saved Project in the right pane.

Navigte to, and select your .iso on the hard drive, make sure your burner is the selected recorder, and burn!
