nero freezing and not burning

my Nero was working fine i burn data files and watch them on a DivX player but my Nero wont let me burn anything now for some reason and just gives me this any help would be greatly appreciated

ive been using these disks for months with no problem though why is it suddenly stopped recognising them is there anyway for it too revert back to how it was

i cant do a log because there isnt one it wont burn at all it just stays on the page where it says final burn settings and the burn button is grey instead of green and wont let u click it

have tryed rebooting it its wierd why it has suddenly started doing this it also says current recorder is E:PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-105 [DVD]if that helps

ive also just tryed to update the firmware like you suggested again and it says 1 target device found do you want to update all drives and when i clciked yes it says in the black writing unknown error occured 0 drives have been updated successfully
