Cable modem 6.5mbp, DL 15kp/s UL 40kb/s help needed

Help need here, i use 6.5mbps cable modem(Motorola sb5101) and using azureus(2.5.0.0) to download my BT files.
DHT Firewalled light in Azureus is yellow.
My DL n UL speed seems way lower than expected.
Firewall is turn off, change TCPIP..SYS setting to 100 max concurrent connection. Set TCP listen port to something else other than the default 6880.
I understand that port forwarding is not required for modem user.
Any suggestion to improve my DL/UL speed ?

Your download speed in BitTorrent, or any other P2P (Peer-2-Peer) application for that matter, relies on the upload speed of others - so do not assume that because you get xxKB/s when downloading from web sites that you will always get xxKB/s with BitComet. Slow download speeds are almost always because the upload bandwidth required to provide you with fast downloads just isn't there... so there is no way to magically speed it up, other than going out and buying everyone who you're downloading from (seeds/peers) a faster internet connection.
