Hi, anyone know why this is?
The last couple times I've installed Nero 7, I'd do custom install, I'd choose to install Nero Smartstart, Burning ROM, Express, Vision, Recode and tools/special features, but Vision never ends up installing. So I go into Add/Remove Programs, then click Nero 7/change so maybe I can try to install Vision again, but now it's not listed in the list, It's been like this for awhile. I even got a new computer recently, fresh install of Windows, same thing. Two different computers , same thing. Anybody know why this happens, maybe a solution out there?
Mike

Try running the Nero clean tool before you install Nero 7...if you had an earlier version of Nero on your PC before 7.
Just a thought.

Not sure that would help since I installed Nero 7 on a newly installed Windows XP, but I will give it a try anyway and post an update tonight or tomorrow.

If we thought this advice would NOT help then we would NOT give it.

But please explain what i would be cleaning with the Nero clean tool If I had never installed a Nero product before? Plus a fresh copy of WindowsXP -SP2 with nothing else installed. I just don't know what it would clean? This is why I stated I'm not to sure it would help. But maybe I'm misinformed and it cleans some Windows XP files that interfer with Nero?

(7.0.8.2/7.5.1.1/7.5.7.0) It wouldn't work from the first time, or the past 3 versions. Forget it though, I'm gonna look for something else to convert an AVI file to DVD.
MODS, feel free to delete this thread please, sorry for wasting everyones time.

Look, I hadn't had the time to follow this but gwen had clearly pointed out that what we where suggesting was the right path to take. And as you had tried to install Nero it was the right thing to to do.
**sigh**

@junesie - no problem, sometimes it's best to give up with a program and change tack.
