I need a video converter that will convert a "Windows Media Audio/Video file" into a .mp4 so i can play it on my psp. I've tried psp video 9 but it dosn't work. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can try this: winavi psp can convert .wmv or other video files to psp directly.But it doesn't support .wma file.You can try its trial version to see if it can help you more.

or if u have Nero 7 ultra u can use Nero recode. its fast and 100 percent of the movies ive converted with it have worked.
