Okay I have dual boot with UnleashX and regular ms dashboards.
so i downloaded the game and burned it and it did not play. I tried several different brands and still no go. I even tried burning it on a different burner and still no go.
Now this is the weird part. I rented the game and even that one will not play under the unleashx dashboard. I have to boot to the ms dashboard and the rented copy will play on that one only.
So any ideas as to what is going on with my xbox. please help if you can. thanks.

is your unleashx dash up to date??
if anything put avalaunch or evox in your apps folder and try to boot off of that....

Might be region locked.

Try changing the region of your Xbox to Default instead of auto and disable in-game reset. Do this in UnleashX's settings.

okay i downloaded the newest unleashx and avalaunch. i placed avalaunch in the application folder and it does not come up. but how do i update the dashboard. not sure where to place the file(s). thanks in advance. I will also try the ettings option too.

okay i looked for a region lock option under system and did not see anything. sorry for asking all the questions but i've not really done much with the xbox. just softmodded and begun playing games. thanks for all the help.

Okay I figured out how to update the dashboard. just replace the config.xml and unleashx.xbe file in the E drive. and yes i did back up the original files just in case. so i am still stuck on the avalaunch not showing up in the apps and where tis region lock is. So feel fee to help with more suggestions. thanks.

well i found avalaunch in the system file explorer. launched it. it went to play the original disc and went to a black screen. so any more suggestions. thanks.

I even placed it on the hard drive using dvd2xbox and still doesn't work. this sucks.

try clearing your Cache E/Cache delete everything in that folder

I'm referring to the video mode, actually.

Just change video mode to default and turn off in game reset.

DAH worked just fine on my Xbox using those settings. Haven't played the second one yet.

Ok i got it to work, Uninstall Your softmod and use SID 3.1. My backup of DAH2 works fine now. I had the same problem as you. out of curiosity are you using 4.5?
