i cant play halo 2 on my softmodded xbox, because the xbox says the dvd is unknown.

my iso is good i think, is it because i am using Memorex DVD+R DL?!?

will the xbox play any memorex DVD+R DL copies?

The best media disk out there to me are
1.Pioneer
2. Taiyo yuden
3.Verbatim

Pioneer are no longer made, but yes TY then Verbatim are probably in the right order.

ok, what ur saying is that the xbox will play the occasional memorex DVD+R DL, but it wont play some disks? I paid 20 dollars for these 3 DVD+R dls and Radio Shack will not take them back! so is it a problem with my iso, or my crappy media?!?

Thanks alot

Taken from - Digital FAQ
1ST CLASS MEDIA
Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:
PVC = Pioneer (Japan) = (-R)(-RW) ... media is no longer made
MXLRG0x = Maxell (Japan) = (-R)(-RW)
YUDENT, TYG0x = Taiyo Yuden,Verbatim (Japan) = (-R)(+R)
MCC, MKM = Mitsubishi Chemicals (Singapore/Taiwan) = (-R)(-RW)(+R)(+RW)
SONY0xD = Sony (Japan/Taiwan) = (-R)(-RW)

^ I'm not quite sure, according to Digital FAQ they are no longer sold.

ok so ive got 3 DVD+R dl's and i should try burning the iso w/ Nero (not Alcohol 120%).
ive made an exact copy of halo 2 (in the form of an ISO)... but could it be a problem with my iso?

Have you copied h2 to a disk? did it require a DVD+R DL? or am i doing something wrong?
