The Perfect Dark franchise belongs to Microsoft's RARE studio, so unless Nintendo cuts a deal with MS I wouldn't count on Perfect Dark coming to the Wii.

wrong it will come to the wii reason rare doesn't own the rights to the n64 version anymore when nintendo and rare went there seperate ways because of donkey kong and yes you read right they signed over the rights to there titles on the 64 to nintendo nintendo can remake the game to run on another console but they cannot make a sequal

Donkey Kong is owned by Nintendo. Perfect Dark is not. Perfect Dark went with RARE when Microsoft acquired the studio.

Once again, Perfect Dark will not be released on the Wii unless Nintendo cuts a deal with Microsoft.

There's a missing portion debate, methinks.
"Nintendo and Microsoft would have to strike up a deal."
Does everyone really think this is impossible?
In case people aren't aware, Microsoft recently allowed another publisher(I want to say majesco or jaleco, but I could be wrong) to publish a third title in the Mechassault series(And for those who think it's still owned by FASA, dig your head out of the ground) onto the Nintendo DS. So, while I won't attempt to say it will or it won't; it should be noted that it is quite possible.
And it makes for an interesting question. Personally, I'd like to see a list of their planned titles, that'd get me even more interested. Either way, I'm number three in line at a store that is expected to receive around 18 units. So, really, I should be set.

That's only because Microsoft doesn't have a hanheld gaming system. If they did that game wouldn't have come out on the DS.

...And it still would've sucked. lol.
But really, on something of this nature it comes down to this. Nintendo's copyright exists on the original perfect dark, but not the series as a whole. Whereas Nintendo has rights to the actual series. So they'd need to make an arrangement, for either company to make money on the original again.
Long and short Nintendo and Rare BOTH have a share of the rights to the original, though Nintendo has no share of rights to Zero or future titles. So Nintendo and Rare would have to share, aka Nintendo and Microsoft would have to share. But realistically a similar thing happened with Mechwarrior 3 and the expansion with a mid-project buyout, and Microsoft recognized it was better to share profit with a competing company, than to lose out altogether. They could always release it simultaneously for WiiConnect and XBL; to please both gamer sides, and both companies would profit. And each company could have their angle, i.e. Nintendo could do some modifications to make it use the new controller, and M$ could re-do the graphics for the 360.
It could work very well, and historically, Microsoft has proven that they can share in the past.

But microsoft and nitendo have the best realtion ship in the games industry microsoft ahs really never said crap about nintendo before they know it like sony does and they have admitted that the wii might be much more succesfull then the 360 but sony and nintendo hate each other I think microsoft respects other companys more hen sony does thats waht I think but ther si a chance of perfect dark but even re making the old one would be cool!

I do think they have mutual respect for eachother, E3'06 would be a good indicator of that; with PR reps joking about buying Wii and 360 for the price of PS3. It seems they acknowledge eachother, and understand that their can be a business relationship (Possibly because if this system fails, M$ will probably buy Nintendo?). Not to mention when the XBox launched, one of Nintendo Japan's more prominent spokespersons was quoted saying that he wanted Mario on XBox by 2008.
In all seriousness, I think they respect eachother as companies and competitors, and would be ready and willing to strike up a deal. Neither of them is Sony, so I'm sure it will happen. (And if you don't understand that statement and Sony's exclusivity habits, you've got your head in the sand.)
