Before posting regarding creating your own psp movies from DVD, i have looked through this forum for hints, tips and advice and unfortunately i still cant get movies to play on my PSP.

This is my process...I use DVD Decrypter Version 3.5.4.0 and i ripped a 48 minute DVD about Peru using the "IFO" mode and ripping as one entire "Vob" file which was 1.8gb in size.

Then i have tried using a few encoder programs such as PSP Video 9, Xilisoft Video Converter & Acala PSP Ripper.

All of which work well and convert the VOB file in an MPEG-4 movie file which is approximately 174mb in size, i name the file correctly
for example...M4V00002 and then i transfer this video file to the PSP drive and then into "MP_Root" folder and then into a folder called "100MNV01" which also contains one other movie "Final Destination 3" which works perfectly but was already on the memory card.

So after following all these instructions to the letter i switch the PSP on and i always encounter the same problem every time where it says "incompatible data" which i just cant understand as the file is an MPEG 4 movie which is named correctly and put in the correct location.

I would say i have tried about 10 times and always with the same failure at the end so if anyone has any suggestions or tips on where im going right or wrong i would really really appreciate it and it wont go unnoticed as im willing to help with Homebrew tips and suggestions.
