Hey,
Im an avid battlefield 2 fan! And im sure this thread would help quite a lot of people! My spec which is:
Now i know my computers up to playing bf2. Single player works brilliant. Now multiplayer! I've never really understood what is needed for this!
2gb of ram
X1800GTO Sapphire 256mb
Amd 3700+ O'ced stably to 2.9Ghz
A8N-SLI Premium
The problem
Well when im playing th egame online it stutters alot. Its playable but when your lining up a shot and it suddenly moves your charater view to the opposite direction its unbeliveably annoying! Soo maybe its the mouse i was thinking! I have a standard laser labtec mouse and im considering getting a gaming one! Would that help?? Or its my internet which is most likely but i need some help there!
I have an 11mbps internet. A belkin usb receiver. And a belkin router. (NTL Internet) Now im sure im going wrong somewere as i see all theese expert 15G or whatever routers. Do i need one of them? Im not sure and am in need of guidance!!

i think your ocmputer should handle BF2 fine. i have the same CPU as you but less ram and crappy video card. i play on low setting lol until i have the moeny to replace them. I personally think its the usb reciever. Im not sure how fast those things can go, I have this network card:
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite...FVisitorWrapper
I cannot tell the difference between this and wired.
Just my opinion, i could be wrong.

Not sure how good belkin routers are:S just try a new network card or going wired, and see how it goes.
