I have burnt some dvd's successfully with Nero after a multitude of problems and I now have a new one. When Nero goes to the transcoding process it says it will take over 200 hours of remaining time. Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen?

I'm guessing it's your DMA, maybe it has reversed into PIO/OFF Mode instead of DMA Mode. Once after 6 failures or so, Windows automatically degrade your DMA into PIO or OFF. Out curiosity, what are your comp/systems specs (including RAM and Processor)?
