Hi everyone! Im new to Vcd's and all and have run into an audio problem.

when i play the VCD in the computor is plays fine, but when i put it in the DVD player of my tv you cant hear the sound when its at normal volume... but when you put it really high you can here it but its really distorted. it kind of sounds like water trickling or something...

I thought it may have something to do with the fact that the audio format was VBR, so i did a direct stream copy of it using VirtualDub, and converted to wave using winamp. i then used that file with the video stream for the cd, but it didnt work. i tried it at both 44.100 khz and 32.000 khz but neither worked.

i also extracted it using virtualdubmod and compressed it into an mpeg file and tried to do it this way. it still didnt work...

im stumped at what to do now... anyone have any ideas?
