Heres what I get:
Quote: Running code changes and site updates, are causing login problems for some of our members. These are all temporary.
Please have a little patience while we get everything up and running properly.
We feel that this option is better than the other option, which would be to take the site down for 24 hours.
Please only use http://www.(have to edit).net to view the site
We appologise for any inconvenience caused at this time. //Staff

Same message here about code changes, but seems to have been quite a few days now. Can someone who manages to log in check in the torrentbyte forums and see when it might be resolved please? I built up a 200gig cushion and I'll be pissed off if I can't get back into the site.
Also same for a mate of mine as well - he has a 500gig cushion and isn't happy he can't log in. It it annoying when you seed and seed to do your best for site. Thanks.

It's down for me at the moment as well. I wouldn't worry, should be back up soon.

Seems it's back up for some and not others. It says my ISP isn't on "the list" either. As well as a couple of mates of mine.
Could someone here who can get in, ask on the forums as to what to do about that please? As although it says to contact staff - you bloody well can't because you can't sign in. Cheers.

I have not been able to get in to torrentbytes since last sunday when I try to log in I just get this message - You are either behind proxy or using ISP/IP (***.***.***.**) which is not qualified to use www.torrentbytes.net.
If you want your IP to be added to our access list, please contact staff.
The problem is there dosent seem to be any way I can contact staff.
Is there any way anyone can help me with this problem

Can someone help then? Just maybe pop into the forums and ask torrentbytes why some folk are getting the "behind a proxy/i.p not allowed" message? Please?
I am seething that I built up a massive ratio only to not be able to get onto the site. What a waste.

Yea....
you've spent so much time downloading copyrighted material for free, and uploading it to others...and now someone has the audacity to take it away from you...gosh!
If your IP is blacklisted, then either you faked your ratio or you've got an IP that's blocked by the bluetack folks, maybe you're at a school or something.
Or...you could also try clearing your browser cache and trying again. :)

I had this kind of a problem with AfterDawn, the site was perfectly fine but I could not load it.
It went away after a while.
Just wait a few days and the problem should be fixed, I guess these kind of things happen.
Try connecting trough a proxy site.

I haven't faked a ratio and neither has anyone else that I know who is now "blocked" - neither am I at school. I'm 42 years old.
My gripe is that unlike some others, I did seed back well to help maintain the site. I donated cash. Many people like to seed as little back as possible. I mainly grab TV shows and there are other sites I could use. But figured I was helping others out by doing my "bit" and making sure something was seeded as long as possible.
Torrentbytes has screwed up somehow and blocked people. And if I have left my machine running for days at a time and also donated - then hell yes, I feel agrieved. Not least by people who come here throwing accusations around and pointing fingers with a holier than though attitude. Not everyone pirates games you know.
And people saying it's working - is it really that hard to ask in their forums - it's people like myself and others who can't get on who helped keep that community going.

p.s - it's also the futility of having a message saying if you can't sign in, to contact staff. The very same staff you can't contact unless you are signed in.

Same here - can't get on :-( built up a decent ratio.
Anyone here with NTL?
How are you supposed to contact them... :-/
Tried a few proxy places but no joy.
Wish they would put something on the front page instead of the 'it's fixed' message. Surely they know there's loads of people who can't access the site?..

OK. They are aware and the coders are busy trying to get it to work with transparent proxies. No ETA.

They seem to be blocking my (Canadian) ISP as well.
It does not appear to be a proxy issue, as you can't even log in using a straight browser.
A friend down the road logged into the site right away with my account using a different ISP.
Another friend, using the same ISP as myself could not even load the home page.
I was able to contact them using the IRC channel #Torrentbytes support...
I hope they work things out soon as well, it's a piss off to loose that site. We all need to stick together and pressure them.
