hey guys, i'm really stressed out right now.. i've been trying to get my psp ready for emulation all weekend long and i've about had it... every time i try again, i get one step further. but here's where i'm at now.. i've got devhook and everything else loaded. i had it working a few minutes ago, when i started the samples and stuff, they loaded and worked fine... i saw a cool looking background when it was loaded, had anime flashing when i opened up one of the sample files, etc. etc... but it froze up and shut down, and i'm back to square 1... anytime i open something up under "game> memory stick", it says "the game could not be started", or something about being corrupted... am i gonna have to format my memorystick again and start from scratch? i try to load HENC, and it freezes and shuts down also...

ok, next question, in regards to the actual game i'm trying to get loaded... i've got it on the computer, and i extracted it to the psp (i tried to put it under game>memory stick) anyway, i couldn't find it under the game menu, so i tried to put it in the main (uhm, what's the terminology here?)... anyway, i just put it on the memory stick, no other folders or anything, and still couldn't find it.. so yeah, what the crap did i do wrong? and what do i need to do to fix it? oh yeah, i'm running 2.71 on a TA-082, but i didn't think that mattered since this version of devhook works with it... oh, and just for specifics, the game i downloaded is Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Sword... i got it from pspblender

you need a folder in your memory card called iso.
You put iso and cso files in it.

You need to run HenC again after the PSP has crashed or done a hard reset. Just one of those things. Try giving it a few seconds before opening the photos and henc.

I have done an easy to use installation which you might like to try, as yet I have had no feedback from it which might be a good or bad thing so its up to you if you try it.

ok thanks, but still some problems... i have devhook up and running again.. ok, anyway, i went into the Launcher, UMD select, and i found my untold legends game in there... i selected it, and went back to START, and it goes back to my main menu (settings, photo, video, etc. etc... and that's as far as i've gotten.. i try to load the UMD (cuz that's what someone said to do), but it says i gotta update to version 9.99! see the kind of crap i'm going through? like i said, i screw up, try again, and get one step closer almost everytime... but this crap has been going on almost non-stop for 3 days now, and i'm REALLY getting ticked... not because i don't know what i'm doing, but because i read that it was "easy"..

try pressing Home and the r trigger to switch ISOs. The 9.99 thing is so you can get to the menu (photo, Video etc.)

yea you are almost there.

check your settings in devhook, UMD select should be a cso or iso file, firmware 2.71 cpu speed 222/111
Boot select = Reboot XMB

What you should see is when you go to the UMD you can see it is the game you selected. pressing home + R (at least on the easy to use version I shoved on the torrents) cycles between the games you have in the iso folder.
