AVI to DVD Error.. pLease help!

I was trying to convert Nacho Libre (AVI) to DVD format, to burn to a dvd video.. I am using WinAVI Vidio Converter 7.7

when I try this I get the error "Can't decode this file! Maybe the file is broken or the relative decoder is not installed!"

This also happens with another video i just downloaded.. but BOTH of these work in DivX, and media player... so what do i do?

Check that if you haven't installed the right codec(DivX,XviD) for .avi file.Without the right codec,it can't convert the file.
