MPG and AVI files, become short????

well,
whenever I download big MPG or AVI files around 120 mb to 200mb which can be a movie or a TV show, it suppose to be at least 45 minutes, and for some reason, all my movies are cut down to :55 seconds whenever I play them. I downloaded on my other computer and it plays the normal 45 minutes. One of my computer always cuts it down to 55 seconds for some reason, for Big files. I don't know why? does anyone know what the problem is with my computer?

What program are you using to view the mpg's?

Load thos movies with VirtualDubMod and see if it gives you any warning. Then do File___File Information.
