Please help. I've been reading through the discussions and cant figure this out. I have used dvdfab converter to create an iso file. Then used dvdshrink to create another file which will fit on a dvd disk. Then I copy all the files in the video folder created by dvdshrink into Nero 7 premium and burn.
Problem is the movie players on my computer but not in my dvd player.
I would really appreciate a step by step guide on how to use Nero 7 preium to create a dvd disk. Can premium even do this ? If not may right to Nero to get money back and get another programme, but the rest of Nero seems pretty good.

What option in Nero are you using to burn like Burning Rom - dvd video files?
You can also burn straight to disc w/ Shrink. Just pick your burner under 'select backup target' Shrink will use Nero's burning engine.
You can also post the last Nero log and we can take a peek. Just be sure to edit your serial # - begins w/ 1A,1C or 5C.

I used dvd video file . I obviuosly made a mistake somewhere, nero's menu screen is kind of confusing (too many choices, I'm a black, white or blue kinda guy; have no idea what indigo, maroon,etc looks like :) )
I thought that its always better to burn to hard drive then to disk so thats why never went through DVD Shrink, but I will try it that way.
btw how do I choose my burn speed. Also if you could lead me step by step through the Nero premium process to burn a dvd, I would really appreciate. Does it matter having premium or Nero 7 ? Could that have anything to do with it.

No difference really in Premium and Ultra - just depends on what country you are in on what they call it.
I usually burn directly w/o any problems. When you may run into problems is 'burning on the fly' - meaning copying and writing in real time so one little glitch and bam coaster.
Sounds like you're using burning rom to burn in Nero. In the burn tab you would change your burn speed.
Try Nero Express - the user interface is simpler. Pick the dvd-video option then in the next screen add the video_ts folder. Click next and set your burn speed. Click burn. That's all there is to it!
seems like DVD Shrink cant find my installed Nero.In " select backup target" i can only use harddrive. It says to burn to disk please install Nero. what should i do ? thanks
