my m8 sent me these folders saying it was the socom ftb2 demo but when i opend it i was expecting a iso or cso........^^what do i do with these files or were do i put them?

i think theyre soemthing to do with loaders..like fast loader. I cant exactly remeber...

Put the two folders in a folder Called PSP_GAME.

Then Take this (UMD_DATA.BIN) and copy it next to PSP_GAME

http://www.sendspace.com/file/a955u4

Example:

----------------------------------------------------------

PSP_GAME--(TWO FOLDERS INSIDE)
USDIR
SYSDIR

UMD_DATA.BIN(DO NOT PUT INSIDE PSP_GAME)




----------------------------------------------------------

Now drag and drop into UMDGEN(UMDGEN.com)

Hit File --Save AS --ISO.

Load err up with Devhook

nothink works for me i done all that put it in umd gen save as iso but when it does all that it gives me another win rar so i win rar it and it gives me all the same stuff i started with them stupid files SYSDIR and USRDIR

The reason you are having these problems are because the file is already is already an ISO. WinRAR can extract ISOs so they come up as WinRAR Archives. Just take the file that gives you the USDIR and SYSDIR when extracted and put it into your ISO folder.

well just a mo i done it rong i put the umd data in the game folder woops now iv put it next to the game folder like you said draged em both in to umd gen file save ...........it says somthink about error next lba ...is 466 am i doing somthink rong.sorry 4 being a noooob i just cant get to grips with it all soz

K u extracted too far. The rar file u had before these files is the iso. Go back.

Assume winxp... Open up Windows Explorer and go to the folder that has you ORIGINAL file, not any of the files you tryed to create. Now, goto TOOLS at the top and click Folder Options. Click the view tab at the top and go down to where it says "Hide extensions of known file types. If its checked, uncheck it. hit ok. Now look at the original file your friend gave you. Does it say something.ISO? If so you're good ta go, just put that on your stick or load it via usb however you wanna do it. Problem with windows hiding extensions is WinRAR when you install it associates ISO files with it so ISOs end up looking like a WinRAR file. Hope that helps. good luck.
