BURN PS2 CD .bin or .cue to DVD

Can you burn a normal CD based game onto a DVD media?
The reason I ask is because my PS2 spins the CD's (because they are too light) very fast and often chokes when trying to load them.
However DVD discs work just fine.
Or can I load CD based games onto a harddrive?
I would need to somehow make them an .ISO image tho?
Any help appreciated, just trying to play my CD game backups in the best way and to preserve the discs for as long as I can.

.bin is the image .cue is a "pointer" file. What you want to do is possible but is more complicated then just converting .bin to .iso you need to add dvd check, etc. Do a search as I'm pretty sure I've seen a tutorial on this before.

This is what happends to every ps2 this is because CD's are harder to read then DVD's because of the layers density CDs have a much more dense recordable layer then a dvd which means that the laser has to push harder to get into the layer but it is always better to use dvd's as often as you cand cds wreck the ps2 laser
