Hi folks

I have recently started using RipIt4Me which in turn uses DVDDecrypter. I have two questions:
- I want to create just one file afterwards ie create one .vob file for the film. I selected "none" in file splitting option in DVDDecrypter, however it is still creating 2 - 3 VOB files for each dvd.

- Also what is the best program for burning. Someone suggested using ImgBurn which I tried. However when trying to build the DVD do I just copy all of the VOB and IFO files that are created in the folder after ripping? When I try to do this it says "You only selected 1 folder which contains just DVD video files!.Does this represent what should be a VIDEO_TS file in the root directory of the file?" When I hit yes I just get an error?

- Is there a more straightforward way of burning these?

Cheers

Hi TheBazman
Sounds like you want an iso - 1 file. In RipIt4Me under ripping settings pick 'iso' You can then burn this w/ ImgBurn w/o the build mode.

If using the build mode in ImgBurn just add the video_ts - no need to do all the files separately. Here's a guide for that:

When Shrink is done during the RipIt4Me process you can always burn w/ Decrypter too. Just pick 'iso and burn w/ decrypter' under 'select backup target'.

Here's also a guide for RipIt4Me that may help too:

Hi All,

I have been reading everyone's problems about ripping and I am curious about DVD Decrypter. I have two computers (newer models). One computer I have DVD Platinum plus DVD Decrypter, Shrink, and Nero. The problems with this one is some movies Plat. will work, some not so I will try Decrypter but haven't been able to burn with it. Shrink is connected to Nero 7 and I have gotten Nero to work once (the boughten version) but now when I try to use it it freezes up on me. I close everything out, meaning virus protector, etc.. The other computer I have Shrink connected with Nero and Nero comes on automatically with no problems and have Decrypter but still can't get it to burn. What am I doing wrong?
