Has anyone seen this in action? I know the concept behind it but how is the quality? I'd think there would be quality loss cos its a video camera taking video of your PSP screen and sending it to your TV or monitor. Wouldnt that be like taking a photograph of a photograph?

Flame, there is one that you need to solder to the mobo or something that can be used in conjunction w/ RCA cables i believe, you could try to find the information on that, it might even be a complete DIY.
and deosvx, it's a waste of money imo. (it is called playstation portable)

I know it PORTABLE but still Im a geek. I have a GBA SP but I still got the emulator on PSP with roms of games I already own. And how else can I play ANY Genesis or SNES on the big screen being that the only place I can find games for either system is at a swapmeet, online or at a thrift store... and than you gotta worry about the actual console breaking down cos its so damn old. Also if you calculate bitrates and sound quality correctly for the best quality I can convert any video to mp4 including flash and play it on tv. Aside from viz quality, Tekken Dark Resurrection is Tekken 5 but with 2 new characters and a ton of extras. So theres a ton of reasons to get something like this providing the video quality is really really good. SO my original question was, is the video quality on par with the actual PSP screen.
Oh... did I mention WebTV via the PSP?
Didnt Sony have a hand in shutting down lik-sang? thats what I thought I read or was it some other company? I know they were accused of shutting down some mod selling company based in japan and now they're denying they had anything to do with it. Thank god the world doesnt completely revolve around money and technology cos youd have 2 superpowers, Sony and Microsoft.... Nintendo could be australia... small but everyone leaves them alone... doesnt try to buy em out. And hey like great beer comes from australia, nintendo gave us mario :D

Yes like i stated in my last comment. The quality is good since it patches into the audio/video signal.

no u cant make one urself unless u wanna put in some extensive work. its not an easy mod. the people that made psp2tv worked for quite a while to get that thing completed.

I spent 200$ on my PSP already bricked one and took it back.. no way in hell im touching a screw on it. They shoulda just had built in A/V output. but they didnt cos they prolly had plans to release an official tv tuner, radio, connect to tv, interface with the PS3 all that.

hey hex, too bad lik-sang is shut down now. damn SCE-Europe and SCE-Japan. (maybe it was just for selling actual consoles, not accessories; read it somewhere forgot where though, sorry)
