its very easy. There is no specific guide because you just need to be told it. Go into the ms0:/dh/271/flash0/vsh/resource/ and swap it with your custom file. The following thigs can be modded:
Font (font goes in ms0:\dh\271\flash0\font\
Gameboot
Opening Sound
Custom Menu Names

HERES AN EASIER WAY TO CREATE FONTS
All you need is the Font Creator, here; http://www.sendspace.com/file/fj4la0
1. Dowload a .ttf font of your choise (you can get fonts at many sites eg. http://www.dafont.com/)
2. Rename the font you downloaded to download.ttf and place it in the Font folder.
3. Run the batch.bat file in the font folder. Then browse to the root of your harddrive should look like this(c:).
4. You should now have 15 files called ltn0.pgf - ltn15.pgf in that directory.
5. Copy ALL of the 15 files to a folder with whatever name and put it in root of the PSP.
6. Copy and paste the ltn0.pgf file from that folder you made to the dh\271\flash0\font\, this will replace the file you had before.
7. Now boot into Dehook and done.

I followed your guide and now my psp is bricked. I was running 2.80 was that it? Wish I would known. I dunnomaybe you should disclaimer.. crap now im screwed and I bought this used.

look deosvx. first of all your link was broken and you info is confusing. Creating a font is such an easy thing but you make it complicated and that is why Newbies are scared of flashing their psp. I couldve made a new thread but guess what i didn't want to because when you create a guide you are not supposed to wait for people to say "Good job" or "nice Tut" but instead you wait for critisims and take them like a man. I admit i made a mistake by saying that my was easier and stuff, but it is. Sorry about screwing your guide buddy but this is all bout providing the best info to other people and thats what i did.

If you are going to be fighting all night long then your going to have to do it by yourself. I'm tired.
I have to say it that I used as a reference SodR's instructions but both mine and his are explained completely different.
SorR created the Font Folder that provided.

easy boys do anything like that to your psp is risky you shoulda wayd the odds! and also its recommended to stuff liek that while using custom firmware just incase it gets bricked so i think its 'at USERS risk'
