What audio recorders will record AM radio digitally?

I know I can record streaming AM radio broadcasts on my computer.

I am curious about handheld mp3 audio devices that have in-line recording for AM radio. I have heard about Pogo and Radio Your Way, but will an Archos or Cowan recorder or portable recorder/players like that also take and record an AM radio broadcast and record it digitally AND then be able to play it back on the same unit or do I have to run it through the computer first.

I would really appreciate any advice in recording AM radio broadcasts. I would also want a unit that has a timer function for setting recording times.
