just install it to the root of your stick

by this i mean

just select your psp and hit install

right first you need to install the custom firmware

so presumably your already on 1.5

now go to Game > Memorystick on your PSP
select the 2.71SE-B upgrade
make sure your psp is plugged in and you have 75%+ battery life
now it will install

surprisingly enough its just like having 2.71

but you can use devhook

and yes you can downgrade its very simple - you just need the recovery mode - which you can get from the full 2.71SE-B download or yyou can wait for the installer im making tonight (will be released tomorrow)

you are getting this all confused

this is 2.71

with all the bonuses of 1.5

meaning all the extra bits of 2.71, with all the homebrew (including devhook) from 1.5

basicly this is 1.5 in a 2.71 shell

dont worry if you reaaly hate it (which i doubt you will)
