i think that you should be able to downgrade other ways than the recovery menu. Also, does anyone know if you can upgrade?

whenever i go to the GAME/ Memory Stick, and click on it, my psp freezes, then shuts off

you need to have a GAME folder and a GAME271 folder. then go into recovery mode and swap the 1.50 and 2.71 kernal.

will some day 2.71 SE-x custom firmware replace normal 1.5.
