JParkes: Your ISP should provide some form of USENET service, however if it's not at a sufficient speed, or doesn't go far back enough on UseNet servers then you will have to pay for your own UseNet service. As far as I know, no reliable providers are free.

Actually toiletman, when i googled free newsgroups i got tons of results.
And when i googled newsgroups binaries coverage i found a lot of info on what services provide the most complete set of binary groups...
Also, as far as i can tell, he was looking for the "the-terminal" binaries group.
If he was asking about where he could find the movie, then i'd have told him that we can't help him with piracy as it is against the forum rules.
And there's the fact that JParkes posted a "guide" on how usenet works, so he undoubtedly knows about server retention times, and newsgroup coverage, and that not all usenet services provide all possible groups.

No single provider has all binary groups, but again, google is your friend. look for some providers, see their group listings, or email them to see which groups they have.
