ok i have read everything about bittorrents i could find on this site and many others i was still having problems.
no one ever mentioned that i neede to set my router and modem up for a bridged connection now that i have done this i get gr8 speeds (even though my net sux)
so if any one ever has a problem with thier connection you should open your ports
then forward then then make sure that your router and modem is bridged its
easy to bridge them all you do is set your modem up to be bridged then
you make your router do the logging in/setting up i have a pppoe connection (dsl)
so i set my router up with my PPPoE information and then my router and my modem
will now work together to log in and descramble my information my ports are compleatly open and still protected by my firewalls and my P2P monitor progs
