Please forgive me but I have never burned a dvd b4 and would like some how to advice. I need to know what programs I need to download, free if possible. All I am trying to do is make a copy of a family reunion dvd. What's on my pc now is RecordNow but the only way you can copy a dvd using that is if you have dvd writer and dvd rom; only have dvd writer on one drive and cd rom on another; in other words, it does not give me the option of saving to hard drive (a temp copy of the original) so that I can burn.

AnyDVD isn't free, but very good.
I believe RipIt4Me is free and does the job fine.

ATTN JVC: Sorry for the delay in replying but I've been dreading learning how to do this that I have been procrastinating doing this task for a month now! Used dvd decryptor and DVD Shrink and they worked like a charm!! Thanks a million for helping a novice like me! Many blessings to you and yours!
