I currently have a 2.60 FW psp (Non-TSA Motherboard). I have read everything on these forums and used the search function to look up more articles but it is just sooo confusing. What I basically want to do is be able to run homebrew, specifically, run ISOs. Can someone give me the basics on how to do this and where to get the necessary programs to download?

Do I have to up upgrade to 2.71 first? or do I have to upgrade to 2.71 THEN downgrade to 1.5 THEN upgrade to 2.71 B? It's all just sooo confusing. Also, is it better to use the 2.71 B created by Alex or should I use the old 1.50 using devhook in order to run ISOs? Which one is better?

ANY HELP is greatlyyyy appreciated.

2.71 SE B is crap. The Memory Stick folder in the games doesn't open at all, and just shuts down your PSP. I'm trying to figure out how to downgrade from it now, its awful.
