Ever since I installed his piece of shit, I can't access the memory stick folder on it. I tried using the Downdater, using the TIFF exploit, to get it off, but that doesn't work. And I can use his generic downgrader, since I can't access the memory stick folder.
Any ideas for help? Maybe to help me make it so I can access the memory stick folder, because as far as I know, I can't run shit, regarding homebrews on this firmware, which kind of makes it pointless, and I can't uninstall this piece of shit either because of the same reason. Any help?

You can't access your memory stick through usb? I think there's a usb that you plug the memory stick directly into, but I bet you don't want to have to look and buy that.
Why won't the downdater work? Be more specific, what's stopping it from working?

No, on the PSP I can't access the memory stick. You know how you go to the game, and then to the memory stick to access homebrew. My PSP just freezes up when I try to open that, and then shuts down after like 2 minutes.
I tried using the downdater, which is the executable one that you run on your computer, and then use the TIFF exploit. But when I go to the photo, to use the TIFF exploit, my PSP just freezes and shuts down. Everytime I do get the red screen on the downdater, it doesn't do the downgrade.
I really either want this 2.71 SE B to run homebrew, or I want it off my PSP. I'm leaning towards off my PSP, because this piece of crap really shows no signs of working, and it seems just like a firmware that doesn't do what its suppose to do.
What are the official methods from downgrading from 2.71 SE B? Can I downgrade using GTA?

Well try the tiff again. Before running it, take out any umd you have in the psp, and when you run the tiff, open it by clicking view slideshow. This works with henc, and since thats a tiff, who knows, maybe it'll work. Doesn't hurt to try. :P

UPDATE: We heard that Dark_Alex has made an update (you can get it by clicking the download link below), and here are the changes you can expect from it:
* Fixed the problem of crashing if the iso folder didn't exist
* Added experimental no umd mode. By default it is disabled.
To install this, just run the new update from the game150 folder in either 2.71 SE-A or 2.71 SE-B. Here are other helpful stuff we got from the readme, which you may want to take note as well:
New configurations:
* Use NO-UMD. It will enable the NO-UMD mode, whose compatibility is currently unknown, and probably less compatible than UMD mode. This is the main reason to release this quick update to know more or less the compatibility of this no-umd mode.
* Use isofs driver also in UMD-inserted mode (in advanced). You probably don't have to touch this, it's mainly done for myself. If you do it, you may decrease the compatibility of UMD mode.
Note that if you want to change from NO-UMD mode to UMD mode, you have to do it in recovery. Because even if you have an umd inserted, but you have the NO-UMD in settings, the CF will use the method of umd emulation of NO-UMD, which differs a lot from the UMD one and may have a very different compatibility.

Found that. It says fixed the problem of crashing if the iso folder didn't exist.
That sounds like what might be my problem, where would I put the Iso folder, and what would I create it. And I don't really get the game150 and game271 folders, where would I put those on my memory stick?

Hmm, any ideas?
I don't have the GAME150, and GAME271 stuff setup on there, or the "ISO" folder, so that could be the problem. It never says where to put those folders though in the README's.

you need the ISO folder and the GAME271 folder or it will freeze like it has been doing.

ms0:/ISO
ms0:/PSP/GAME271
ms0:/PSP/GAME
Then boot into recovery mode (holding R on bootup) and got Configation > Game folder homebrew(currently running: 1.50 Kernal) if it says 2.71 Kernal press cross to change it to 1.50. Now exit recovery mode and you should be good to go.
