I am completely new at all of this :)
I want to learn how to back up my DVDs, but I don't really understand what to do. I've looked all over google and searched the forums, but I'm not quite getting it.

I downloaded DVD Decrypter, which I used to get the files off of my DVD and into a folder on my computer. ]
Now, I have a bunch of different VOB files which don't play on my computer.
So I need to convert these files, right? Do I need to convert all of them? Because it seems that one of the files is the opening credits, one is the whole movie, one is the middle part and ending of the movie, and one is the end part of the movie. Its kind of confusing.
I downloaded AutoGK to convert my VOB files to AVI, but the file I converted only had picture, no sound!

I am doing something wrong here. Can somebody please set me straight or point me in the right direction? A big thank you in advance :)
