I have't fully understood the qeustion, but when opening the .torrent you must make sure its ascosiated with Azureus for it to load them.
To do this, go to Options --> Preferences --> General Options pane.
Click on the "Associate with .torrent files" button and press "OK".
Oh, one more thing, Azureus is just fine, don't switch to another client in an attempt to fix the problem, as it might not do anything close to helping, we'll try and fix your problem rather than potentially causing you more stress.
For now, lets see what we can do..if all else fails then its a possibilty.
@Ripper,
Quote:I'd use uTorrent as apposed to Azurues as a BT client. It is much lighter on resources and simpler to use with a clea interface.
That might solve your problem, and youd have a better client :-)
You could potentially be discussing the Firefox bug with open-associations, it happens to me too. You click the torrent, and when the load window pops up, "ok" is grayed out.
There used to be a fix for this that involved modifying a .ini file because it happened after the Fox screwed up the association.
However, now you can simply click the "ok" button once and it will become a live button, at which point it will be clickable. Happens to me some days and not some days.
If that's what you're talking about, that's a Firefox bug and NOT an Azureus one.
However if that's not what you're talking about, please tell me exactly when this "load" screen is grayed out...and what "load" Screen it is. We'll getcha fixt.
And, for the record, if it's appropriate to advise people to try something completely different but ultimately the same every single time they have an tech service issue, why the hell is anyone still running windows?
