Hey,
I have a bunch of gift cards from Best Buy, and I was debating on whether I should get an mp3 player or psp. I've been reading up these forums, and it seems that the new processor will not allow you to downgrade. I really only want a psp if I'd be able to dl games from bitorrent. Also, I have about a 10gb music collection, and it seems that these memory cards don't comecheap. I'm assuming Best Buy will most likely be carrying the new versions of the psp, so my hopes of free gaming have vanished. But, will there eventually be some way to work around this new processor so I'd be able to dl games? And are 4gb flahs cards the highest there are?

1.) more then likely a psp from best buy will not be able to play iso files.
2.) its not the processor that limits it. its the motherboard. if u were to get a ta-082 mobo with 2.71 u could run HEN-C and devhook port to play isos. if u were lucky enough to get a 2.71 without the ta-082 mobo u could downgrade and not use hen-c or the port.
3.) 4GB is the biggest they come at the moment. there is a 6 and 8 stick in the works and with further firmware releases will unlock the capability to use these but u will lose the ability to use homebrew.
