I wonder if someone could tell me if I am OK in using UMDGEN to remove the UPADATE folder in an ISO, and then save it as a CSO.

Only I am just trying this with a file (ace combat) and the original ISO was just over 1GB. The CSO with the update left in place was over 700MB, but what has supprised me is that deleting the UPDATE folder before making the CSO brings the CSO right down to 619MB.

Are update folders usually that big? and is it OK to just delete them before making the CSO? Seems a hell of a saving for something that is never going to be used. If I am right I am going to delete all of them from now on (and work back through a few)
