bootable USB Flash Drive

Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to make a flash drive bootable. I have a bootable cd utility that i have and i want to put the files onto my flash drive and make it bootable so i dont have to actually carry the cd around with me. Is this possible? If anyone knows how, please let me know. Thanks.

I couldnt get it to work on 2 flash drives. Maybe its just my BIOS because it keeps recognizing them as HDD's.
