Hi, my computer seems to be running very slow. I have ran all my virus, spyware and adware protection, i seem to be clean. I use Nortons 2006, sygate personal firewall, Ewido-now AVG Anti-Spyware, Eusing Free Registry cleaner, Ccleaner, Ad-Aware SE, and SpywareBlaster. Going from program to program, or just getting the start menu to come up is slow. Internet is slow too. i seem to have a lot of running processes and i haven't a clue what they are. Hello tater420,

You said you have alot of running processes, but there's less than average and there's no bad files in the HjT log.

Even though you have a good setup for security you could run an online scan because Norton isn't the best at finding or removing newer viruses.

First, check for a rootkit:
Download F-Secure Blacklight (blbeta.exe) to the desktop from here.
Open it and click Accept Agreement.
Click "Scan".
After the scan is complete, click "Next", then "Exit".
It will create a log on the desktop named "fsbl-xxxxxxx.log" (the xxxxxxx will be the date and time of the scan)

Then, go here and run Kaspersky Online Scanner.
Accept the terms.
After downloading, click "My Computer".
After scanning, click "Save report as".
Save as a text file and post it in your next reply along with the Blacklight log.
