I am changing from adsl to cable and i was wondering if i will have to change any details on torrent sites that i am a member(private).
i am at present using a d-link adsl router i know i will have to change to a cable router and reconfigure all the port forwarding etc.
i have read the faqs for the sites i use and the passkey system is in use so i think i will be able to continue without any problems.
sorry if this is a stupid question but im not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to isps and ip addresses

You will have to dump all your cookies, and make sure you redownload any torrents you had running before, it might also be smart to reset your passkey on the tracker, or have the tracker's staff do it for you if the site doesn't have the option for you to manually reset the passkey.
Other than that, after you log in with your new modem/router, everything should be A-OK.
