After giving it up for dead a while back, I busted out the PSP and started messing with the downgraders and goodies to get into the homebrew goodness. I downgraded my 2.71 to 1.50 and then installed the 2.71 SE-B package with devhook and ran some ISOs off the memory stick. Then I read about IrShell and saw what it could do and tried to install that. No luck so far and I'm going nuts. I copy the two folders to the memory stick root. No luck, just corrupted files when I try to access it off the stick. I've tried putting the /Game files in the PSP/Game folders and the Irshell in the memory root, again, mothing. Do I have to be in 1.50 to install the package? Am I putting the folders in the wrong spots? I've looked around and can't find an answer so either I'm doing something monumentally stupid (likely) or I have missed something completely. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
do a cold reboot on your psp. press R as soon as u turn it on. go to configuration. change the kernel to 1.50 on the game folder option. see if that will help.
