If I buy Hdadvance can I play back up copies of games without the slide tool? I am not talking about from the hard drive. I am talking about a burnt copy of my game that I legally own. Or am I lost? Can you play burnt copies or do I need something besides the HDADVANCE and the slide tool. Please someone reply soon.

um if u have the good moding chip u will need it but if u using swap magic u will need it

Mmm, that answer made perfect sense! NOT!

HDAdvance is for only booting games from the PS2 Hard Drive.
What you need for burnt games is either a modchip, or Swap Magic boot discs combined with either; a replacement custom fliptop lid, slide card, or Magic Key set, depending on what version of PS2 you have.
