as the title sais, I found a loop hole in the warenty, it sais that if the warranty sticker is removed it voids the warranty, but it does not say the cuting the warranty sticker and leaving it on voids the warranty, so as long as you do not modify the insides, you can take it apart without voiding the warranty, the same most likly goes with the PS2 aswell, so you can take it apart to clean it, yay

some people are just plain.......
if you cut the sticker, BAM no more warranties.
the sticker must be in perfect condition for warranty to be served.

Yea it says if the sticker is Damaged in any way. I think cutting it in half would be considerd damaged.

i myself found a way to leave it just the way it is and dont tinker with the psp insides. imagine how tough it is to resist the temptation!

i know! hahahaha
but i have already satisfied my curiosity by opening my cousins psp
hehehe. my auntie allowed me to, she doesnt care for the warranty.
has no sound at all, only through earphones.
lots of scratches due to a 4 year old kid uses it.
broken umd door, slight touch and it opens.
1.52 i downgraded it to 1.5.
i didnt fix the sound, i cant, sound chip is fried
probably because of some liquid he spilled unto it.
psp still works but 4yr old boy dont like it anymore
so he is giving it more love by using it as a stage for his action figures and occasinally slamming it againt the house walls. oh well!

i've considered that before i bought mine, but heck i dont like playing with no sounds, lots of screen scratches and the ever auto turning off lcd. oh i fixed the umd door. i taped it permanently !harharhar
