Ok i just got GTA Vice City and it requires you have 2.81 to play. I have the devhook fro the 2.71 and it works great. I cant play it the new gta on it though. Is there any devhook or any other program i can use on my 1.50 to play gta, or do i have to upgrade tonight thank you!!!

It's playable on the go my man!
Just bought my copy Firmware 2.81! I have Ripped it and its playable using DEVHOOK Launcher mod 1.35. Original ISO is about 1.6 GB. Removed update using UMD 3.02 is about 1.17 GB, now I used ISO compressor and its 872 MB. Not BAD. Enjoy

To play GTA Vice City Stories if you change the UMD SFO in Devhook to (2.XX>2.00). I heard it works with GTA Vice City and I know it works with other games such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance(requires 2.80) and ATV Offroad Fury Pro(requires 2.81)
And oly a retard would upgrade instead of wating for a new devhook or a some new exploit!

Again, all tose games you are talking about work untouched on debhook 46, unles you get a bad rip or patched one.

If you wanna play the actual retail UMD try the devhook launcher mod posted through out the forum. YOU must have 1.5 and you must have the original devhook to emulate 2.71. If that doesn't work than sucks for you and sucks to be you. I got an iso and cso working.. no reason you cant get the actual UMD working. Now that i think about it.. just use the update to 2.8x ;) and do us all a favor:)

thats just bad advice just try to clock the psp to a diffrent speed 333 might work and if not just hang on there we will figur it out soon dosent make sence upgradein 4 one game then once u beat it or tire of it you ganna b like damn

I have the Euro Version (PAL) and it works just fine on my 1 GB card with Dev Hook .46, I'm using FW 2.71 SE-A. Just make sure that "UMD Version" is set to "2.xx --> 2.00" and not "No Change". I had the whole image, just used UMDGen 3.5 to "Configure Padding" to "None", deleted the update folder, and created a ciso file. Came out to about 860 mb or so (I can't remember the exact size, sorry). Hope this helps out. I don't know if this works via UMD though, sorry. But devildoll is correct, this method works on the games mentioned, as well as all other 2.8 FW games I've tried.

ok i got the special firmware dark alexs 2.71 se-b'. I tried the umd swap like 100 times with socome and it wont work. I also have devhook and i cant get it to work with the regular umd. Please help How do i do this what do i need???? Please help thanks!!!!

Any way of playing the iso on dax z iso? Or any way i can play the iso off of memory stick,without usb or anything. Dont want to upgrade psp or scratch up the game and only have a 1gb memory card.
