Anyone working on ripping VCS to get it under a gig? Im right now converting it to a CSO as I write this.

EDIT: At level 9 compression it puts it alittle under a gig. I doubt this is gonna work. Will try and see.

Got it working no trouble atall as a cso, however the game runs pretty bad with annoying small freeze ups, I used level 9 compression so maybe I can still get it under a gig with a lower level and solve this?

Still playable how it is but the freeze ups would probably really not help during a hard mission.

yeah the compression is most likely the prob. the same thing happens to gta: lcs.

whats up with the compression levels? Level 8 is almost the same size as level 9.

But the game is already very close to 1 gig at level 9 and don't forget you need room for your save files and other apps you have on the card too.
I will try later on and see how far I can lower the compression.

guys I used 9 as well, and like you say the lag makes it pretty unplayable

I'm using WINCISO, are you?

Would reducing it to level 5 make that much difference?

Cso is no good...go to maxconsole or another similar site, get the ripkit, get it to around 700-900 megs (depending on how much you are willing to sacrifice), then have fun ;)

Yup, mine is around a 800MB iso...ripped a few music stations, padding, update, relinked the opening movie....but it plays at full speed! I said it in my last post......go to maxconsole to find kits.
